So, last weeks edition is still whats selling in my neck of the woods, but my immediate reaction would be an emphatic no. Think of how many scriptures point to the danger of wealth and the blessedness of the poor. I do believe that many good things come out of people's wealth and money in itself is not a bad thing, but...there are ways we can store up treasures in heaven and it doesn't involve a vacation home or a 2007 whatever-car. May we all have soft and receptive hearts and may we hold however much money God has entrusted to us with open hands.
Rich in spirit! That IS the only thing that matters...and the ironic thing is...so many people that are so rich materially, are so poor in spirit. So many lessons to learn!
